Event Details
Join poet Rosaleen Crowley for an inspiring writing and art workshop that invites you to discover and document your personal connection to place through creative expression. Through a blend of Irish heritage art, original poetry, and hands-on art journaling, participants will explore the profound themes of love, loss, survival, resilience, balance, and belonging.
This interactive workshop encourages you to interpret your own thoughts and feelings about the places that shape you. Using words, images, and artistic expression, you'll reflect on what "home" and "belonging" mean in your own life. While blank pages will be provided, participants are welcome to bring their favorite writing tools and personal journals for writing, drawing, or doodling in response to the workshop activities.
Whether you're an experienced artist or writer, or simply curious about creative self-expression, this workshop offers a welcoming space to explore your relationship with place through the powerful combination of art and words.
This workshop was made possible by a grant from Indiana Humanities.
